Women’s Animal Center is a Full-Service Veterinary Hospital prioritizing pet health and wellness and providing high-quality compassionate care. Treating family-owned pets in our community and animals recently adopted from our shelter, we strive to provide superior care and affordable veterinary services. We see patients by appointment only, and cannot accommodate walk-in visits, however, we do offer same-day appointments for sick patients.

Scheduling & Cancellations
Clients can request an appointment by calling 215-750-5252 to speak to one of our Client Services Representatives.
We ask that you please let us know, at least 24 hours in advance, if you are not able to make your scheduled appointment. Your visit is not only important for your pet, but it’s very important to our organization. Women’s Animal Center uses the fees raised through veterinary appointments to care for the animals in our shelter. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
Late Policy
Women’s Animal Center strongly encourages our clients to arrive early for their scheduled appointments. Late arrivals make it challenging to serve the many pet families in our community who depend on us each day. We cannot guarantee that appointments arriving fifteen minutes late or later will be seen the same day because of other pet patients already scheduled. Please note that clients arriving fifteen minutes after their appointment slot may be asked to reschedule to ensure that our veterinarians can dedicate adequate time and attention to each of our pet families.
Same-Day Sick Visits
Women's Animal Center is not an emergency hospital, but we do reserve a limited number of same-day appointments for sick animals. The number of available sick visits vary daily depending on the number of veterinarians on the floor, and do fill up quickly, so availability is never guaranteed. In cases where we cannot accommodate same-day sick visits, we refer our clients to nearby emergency hospital partners.

Existing clients of Women's Animal Center Veterinary Hospital can create an account or login to access their pet's medical records and appointment history through our VetScene Patient Portal.
